Our Story

Who didn’t play escape rooms with friends on Zoom during the pandemic?
Well, the truth is that right behind that screen, despite the juicy gossip, nothing happened at the very beginning.
Then the pandemic fortunately calmed down, and in person everything was different! A few Spanish croquettes, a pizza, a good tiramisu and a few glasses of wine in person made what was happening behind the screen real!
(So yes, of course, something eventually did happened :)
We must also thank mr Ryanair, faithful travel companion that helped to make this happen!
And so here we are, 3 countries and many miles after
We played a good game after all!

Best route - take the “Marconi Express Monorail” from the airport to “Bologna Centrale Train Station” - about 7 min. From there:

- Opt 2 - a High Speed Train - Italo or Frecciarossa - to Reggio Emilia Stazione AV - about 20 min.

Best route - take a bus shuttle with “Autostradale” or “Terravision” from the airport to “Milano Centrale Train Station” - about 50 min. From there:
- Opt 1 - a regional train to Reggio Emilia or Modena - about 1.5h - or
- Opt 2 - a High Speed Train - Italo or Frecciarossa - to Reggio Emilia Stazione AV - about 40 min.

Best route - take the “Malpensa Express Train” from the airport to “Milano Centrale Train Station” - about 50 min. Alternatively, take a bus with “Autostradale” or “Terravision” or “Malpensa Shuttle “From there:

The airports
All airports in Italy have car rental services, so if you arrive late at night, you should check them out, as the bus and train service is not available 24/7.
Some companies have more convenient prices if you book through portals such as Skyscanner, Booking or even airlines such as Ryanair offer fly-and-drive deals. Convenient car rental prices can be found also with Locauto and OK Mobility, available in all the airports mention above
High-Speed Trains
High-Speed trains in Italy are usually very convenient (journeys for around €10/15), so if you can, we recommend that you check the sales websites before you arrive and buy your tickets in advance to make sure you get a good deal.
They also connect many parts of Italy so if you are going to be in stay in the area and want to visit other cities, it can be very useful.
